I just don't get how anyone can see major right wing political figures really harshly making fun of a candidate's autistic son for crying at his dad's speech and still think "Yeah, I'm gonna vote for those guys. They seem like my kind of people." Same for Trump making fun of the disabled reporter.

She means well but I am many types of uncomfortable. Yes, there is a need for more and better support and understanding for Gus and others.

But why is SHE (or her son) "voiceless?" And why is it about HER?

(I am the parent, grandparent, and mother-in-law of autistics.)
