Classroom censorship denies students the right to see themselves reflected in what they’re taught, to form their own opinions, and to express themselves.

How about disallowing protests on college campuses. His theory is My way or the highway. Doesn't work like that here. We are still for and by the people. It's just that some of them have gone astray following an egotistic, inept leader
No educator will ever claim that fostering Student Voice is anything but but the hardest of challenges! I’ve spent my whole career just scratching the surface on getting to know how it all works. They’ll censor my classroom when our sun goes supernova!
Systemic racism and homophobia is running rampant in our public school system. A student doesn’t have the right to free speech or expression but they are trying to force Christianity and prayer on students. It must be stopped. Our rights are being violated daily.
Regardless of where you stand in the political spectrum, academic freedom should be defended by all. Professors should have the right to teach and students should have the right to attend. Critical thinking and open debate are tools everyone needs. Especially now.
