I’m more stunned not by the gallows humor but the lack of outrage and focus on motive. Virtually all adult Americans have had bad experiences with health insurance coverage. Then, seeing his annual salary, it pours salt on the wounds, metaphorically speaking.

The consequences are extreme and I don’t condone them but he’s a serial killer. His net worth is built on blood. United has a 32% denial rate, twice the average. He should have had a much longer life spent entirely in jail. More serious crimes happen than the death of a serial killer.
