My guess would be a shift to extreme Hi-Lo pricing, meaning keeping the every day price very high with sporadic discounting.
Physical has (more like had, really) steep discounting because there's only so much physical shelf space in store and sales velocity had to be maintained to retain it.

My personal appreciation for physical media aside, I can't imagine what some of these publishers would start doing with no physical market to be beholden to. Keep me away from that. #PhysicalGames

This gen, I've noticed a common Sony first party sale discount of ~40%. Perhaps that discount + improved margins from digital is a sort of magic number for their profitability?
