When I got my COVID/flu shots a few weeks ago, they reminded me to get my shingles as well (I just turned a certain age) but recommended not on that same day, due to side effects. But the COVID/flu didn’t do much to me at all, so kind of wish I’d done the trifecta. Thanks for the nudge!

Just got my Covid and flu shots this week. I’ve been debating about shingles bc I had it in college and have had several friends get it. I’m only 44, but if I can just get it at a pharmacy 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think I’m up to date on tetanus, but prob not the rest since I haven’t had those since I was a kid.

Walmart Pharmacy doesn't ask, either. We've received all of our vaccines from them. I register online and pick an appt time. They're very quick as well; we've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes.

The shingles vax and I don't play well together .The 1st one felt like a truck had hit me .Had my 2nd on Friday ,thinking it can't be as bad as the 1st ,but , sadly ,yes it can .Great that the feeling only lasts for about 12 hours .But it's definitely worth it !

I got zostervax when I hit 50. Bugged my Doc for Shingrix. Got that last year. 10 years on. Got both Covid and flu shots the day it opened in Ontario. I’m a jab anything in my arm if it’s going to keep me alive!!!

Shingles shot gave me chills and aches - still worth it. My husband only had a sore arm. Pick a day you have nothing pressing and get it done. So much easier than the misery of shingles!! Continue to spread the word.

Turns out “weird nerve pain” post-Covid was shingles, not another weird COVID symptom & have to wait until it’s been a year since I caught shingles (because the vaccine is more effective that way). You better believe I have had an appointment for months.

I got flu and covid shots in early September. Yesterday, I got an MMR booster. My doctor said the recommendation for two MMR shots as kids was after I was born, so I probably only got 1. And even if I didn't, getting another wouldn't hurt. My insurance covered it so I got it.

The pharmacist questioned it, asking if I was immunocompromised, why my doctor wants me to get it. I said, I want to get it, I asked my Dr about it. Too many crazies not vaccinating their kids and I don't want to get the measles. She said, ok fair enough and gave me the shot.

I got my shingles shots shortly after turning 50 this year and had slight side effects for each of the 2 shots that lasted maybe a day. My friend had shingles (b4 50) that lasted 6 MONTHS and no thank you. Get your shots, folks!
