According to one local charity CEO, who didn't want to "make a royal charity an enemy" by going on record, not a lot. "I’m not convinced it will have any kind of effect, let alone a significant one, because what’s been achieved so far is quite flimsy.”
But others are extremely happy with what Prince William's project, Homewards, has already achieved. "There’s landlords saying they want to have a softer approach with tenants," says Reach Up Youth founder Safiya Saeed, "and we’ve never heard that before.”
Last month, Homewards published an "action plan" detailing what it will aim to do in Sheffield over the next three and a bit years. But some of this work, like its "innovative housing project", is still a mystery — including to some of the people involved.
