theres also an Ipad app that is really good for interiors, its got some good basics, Its called Interior Design Pro. its free with additional paid content

The graphics in this are a bit outdated so it should be good for potato laptops too

(if it runs on my €250 laptop it probably runs on yours too)

Every time this gets interactions I get reminded of how painfully italian I am, but I'm glad it's helpful to you all!

If your laptop is good enough I'm pretty sure you can find even better software during this steam sale, so consider looking into this genre of programs during your shopping spree
