i think every ruleset should have a "come on now" clause to ban/remove/dismiss someone, with the criteria being "you know it when you see it"

I think that the greatest takeaway from all this is for everyday people to understand that trying to appease bad-faith actors will always blow up in your face, regardless of what the appeasement was in the first place.
