Why are there any artists still staying on twitter but not here? I understand people crossposting between both if they had a large following they didn't want to give up. But I still peek over there briefly and will see art I wanna share here, but the artist is dead set on staying there exclusively

But I'm an exception who can and has deleted accounts over management shitting itself. From Tumblr's throwing a tantrum in slow motion, to Facebook's ancient analytica event.
1) They have a secure platform at least, to promote their goods and services. Asking all their audience to move would be a big ask.
2) Part of their job requires they have a line on Twitter.
Instagram/Facebook are harder cuts to make, as that's where people I actually know check my stuff out.
That being said I'm less sympathetic to others who just don't wanna put in the work in engaging as a community or like the toxicity of Twitter too much
