What that also means, and I know folks hate to hear it, is that your Harry Potter games are Cybertrucks. Books are Teslas. Yes, you bought them before you knew she was like that, but if you're still promoting the work in your community, you are making her money.

Is not that good of writer. Sure the books were fun for their time, but her discourse is not well written, much less the world building, or never exploring the moral implications.
But also, she doesn't get to take away the joy I had reading those books, or the fun I had discussing it with friends, the thrill of anticipating new books. Those memories are mine.
I think a lot of people don't want to give up HP because they think it means they can't look back fondly at their enjoyment in the past. But you can have those happy memories and spurning her now.
