Apparently there is vagueness around people born in the late 50s getting measles immunizations. Some say "oh back then EVERYONE got measles, so you're immune." My big sister has a scar from measles, but I had no scars or memory of having measles, so I got the immunization at an urgent care place.

You can get a blood test to see if you have antibodies for measles (MMR titer) or just get a new vaccine. Won’t hurt to have a vaccine even if you have immunity.

Thanks, I had forgotten about that test. I can't recall the specifics, but at the time I concluded that it made more sense to just get the immunization.

Thank you for what you are doing. Sorry to hear this news. Innocent lives are being harmed while they continue to target hard facts. But many are fighting to defend public health and combating falsehoods by promoting facts, like you do. #Grateful
