I felt it was important to support this movie because Anthony Mackie has faced so much racism about becoming Captain America. This movie has POWERFUL commentary about "being enough". Mackie does a great job... 2/

In all, I thought the movie was a back to basics, classic superhero movie. I was surprised that even with script re-writes, the script seemed very cohesive and well done. 3/

The action in this movie, I think, it what makes it so great. The work with the shield is nuts, and I loved seeing Sam fight Red Hulk. Harrison Ford also was so fantastic in this film.

I am super happy that this movie still pulled out a good product for Sam Wilson's Cap. I recommend it! 4/4

I absolutely thought this Captain America was a big step back to form for Marvel. Loved the story and acting all around. I was nervous going in, but excited afterwards!

Right! I wasn't expecting to like it so much. I also love how they tied in the references from past movies and explained them in a way that didn't seem overdone. If that makes sense? Like so much relevant info comes from older movies but they made it accessible for people who haven't seen them.

It makes perfect sense! They took existing characters with established motivations and let them do their thing. It was organic character forward writing which has been lacking for Marvel. And they didn't try to over complicate it.
