UPDATE: I am on Part 5, the finale part, of Morning Star. About to end the first trilogy. I am severely in now. I stand by the fact book 1 did not entice me like I wanted it to, but there is a huge level up in books 2 and 3. Like big time.

Book update. I am halfway through Golden Son, book 2 of the Red Rising series.
I do wish that book 1 had a bit more... worldbuilding. I find myself kind of questioning some things and feeling like I've missed chapters. But it is getting good and I am excited to see where it goes.
