Pre Crash SDF-1. This design was first seen in Robotech Graphic Novel. Possible that line art was produced by Ammonite while working on The Sentinels and shared with the Comico artists.
The only place I've seen the official line art is as an extra on the Robotech Archives in the 20 disk set.
