The new M. Night Shyamalan movie is so amazingly ill-conceived and weirdly constructed and brazenly nepotistic (the film is set at a concert given by a pop star played by Shyamalan’s daughter) that I actually ended up kind of liking it in a “well, I haven’t seen a film do THAT before” way.
