US commitments, treaties, etc. are useless and unreliable not just from administration to administration but also with the administration that agreed to it. Any ambassador to the US should first talk to our Native American nations.

Thank you for remembering this rather significant detail. Funny thing with history for those of us who pay attention to it. It usually has the answers. The mentally challenged resident of Oval Office never met a contract , or a bit of history, that he couldn’t ignore, dispute, or kick to the curb!
