My mate tells a glorious story of how he saw Bowie in some European festival around this time, and Bowie came on with a guitar and unexpectedly started the set with a pained, wrenching acoustic version of Quicksand... then launched into the rest of the set entirely comprised of drum 'n bass 😍

As both an early 90s raver and a bowie fan, I did think when this came out 'c'mon dave talk about late to the party' but over the years I've grown to love it and Little Wonder still sounds fresh and hard as fuck to this day x

Very integral album to understanding Bowie & Bowie's music, the industrial sound reinforcing some of Bowie's older messages woven into songs on previous albums, continually painting a picture of his vision of cycles & igniting tours with both old & new faces to sing to old & new faces.
