If I saw a hair stylist advertising with AI I'd assume they're not competent as they'd have just asked a customer if they could take a picture when they're done if they could actually do the style.
I was traveling and saw an eye doctor’s shop with huge AI-generated banners of creepy uncanny valley old ladies wearing glasses and all I could think was wow, they are so unconfident about their products they have to fake it all in their ads.
Counterpoint: probably all their customers are not super attractive (just average or so) and they don't have a studio and good camera to take the image.
