Hydrogen powered cars( FCEV) drive similar to EVs. FCEVs have a small battery that feeds the electric motors just like an EV. A fuel cell is fed hydrogen which constantly produces electricity to charge the battery. Lack of fueling stations and clean hydrogen are the drawbacks. Cont.
Consumer FCEVs won’t become popular for a decade or so. Companies will first concentrate on Class 8 fuel cell electric trucks especially those who return to their ‘home base’ everyday.
