There's plenty of 100% valid criticism to go around, but this is deeply misleading. Subaru has planned to move all Outback production from the U.S. to Japan for some time, and will replace the Outback on U.S. production lines with the Forester, which is currently made in Japan.

It's the Daily Mail, so you can't expect much there. This move was 100% in the works months before the tariffs and certainly before the election. There will be an impact on consumers, though, as many very popular, usually value-oriented Subaru models will be hit hard if the tariffs remain.
