I think the mistake we’re making is assuming that this administration or political party actually professes to be Christian any longer. Sure they use the symbolism but that’s just to get votes. In practice, they’re as secular as anyone else.

"They're putting persecuted Christian refugees in camps in the jungle" sounds like something Glenn Beck would accuse the Obama administration of doing and yet now it's a pillar of the Republican agenda.
