Is there a "doodling" equivalent for writing
Like if you're just drawing in a relaxed and no-pressure way you're doodling, but what do you call it if you're doing casual no-stakes writing

Doodling for drawing
So… woodling??
I see people suggesting “Drabble” but that is a story that is exactly 100 words long, and can be difficult to write, so I don’t think that works.
I sometimes write in a notebook I call my "rambles pad." Reading it again months later can be rather... interesting.

Consider noteling, graffling, scriveling, jottling

Definition 2 or 4.
Blow someones mind, write them a letter. It's fun I promise!
I'm very out of my element but enjoying it, I think
doodling if it’s penning images.
😉
Scribble is one I use to describe when I am writing in 'the zone' where the legibility might take a hit. It is also pretty much anything with no big purpose or agenda.
