Oh i feel this! last few years I get my ink from Precision colors and they have refillable cartridges! And also ways to turn the official brand cartridges into refillable/resettable ones
The company doesn't do refills, but you can buy the ink and some tools to refill them yourself! It's a little extra work but it is the most cost-effective way
I've used a combination of a Canon Pixma ix6820 and these ink cartridges for 5 years, and aside from like... one cartridge leaking on me, have never had any issues. Highly HIGHLY recommend.
if this ends up solving the problem with my printer, cause we are 99% sure it is the ink cartridges we got that are the problem I will thank you in advance for this information! this might be a game changer!!!

Offbrand ink cartridges for roughly $2 each. I've used these since day 1 and they have served me extremely well. Helps keep costs down 👍
