China has carried out extreme repression—Tiananmen, Xinjiang, Hong Kong—but Gaza is different in scale & impact. Israel’s actions are actively backed by the US, Europe, & much of their mainstream press. Normalizing mass killings & expulsions under this cover sets a dangerous precedent for the world
