Because I'm an elder millennial and a data management nerd and definitely no other reasons, I'm thinking about the algorithms we used for getting things done in groups in the 1990s and before. Examples I remember:

(1) Phone tree
(2) A-D bring an appetizer, E-G bring a main dish, etc.
