It's a really good way to heighten the tension of Twilight Imperium or any other longform diplomacy-esque board game, knowing that one wrong move or another player's well-timed betrayal will leave you getting fattened up forever
Not to mention taking fattening risks to sneak ahead of the others! Sure, you might leave the game 100 pounds fatter, but that's better than leaving it *500* pounds fatter!
Better to leave with 100 than 500, better to leave with 500 than 1000, better to leave with 1000 than never be able to leave at all... I'm sure standards for success slip as the game goes on and friendships get tested
You intend for us to imagine an epic quest, several furry friends trapped in a fattening adventure with dice rolls and trap cards and betrayal and sweet victory
I imagine four furs forcibly transformed forever into hungry hippos
Gloomhaven where all the enemies have stuffing attacks! Pandemic with fattening diseases! Terraforming Mars where each generation gets lazier and more gluttonous as the technology advances! Arkham horror with wg curses and eldritch fattening fates!
