This is a slow motion train wreck that is happening at the speed of 2-week payroll cycles and Net 30 invoices.

No one really notices if the funds get held up for a day or two, but once we start hitting 30 or 60 days...

Exactly. We literally don't even know how big the Head Start freeze is. Some recipients are getting paid, late, after resubmitting. But new ones are still emerging as invoices go in. It doesn't seem to be a single batch of unpaid invoices slowly being dealt with.

There is a court hearing in New York tomorrow on this case. I don't think the BFS part of the DOGE story is necessarily over yet. Lots of questions are still unanswered about exactly what Marko Elez did while he was there. But for now, DOGE are not in the payments system
