Yup. One of the most common types of games I play these days, actually.

Having a job + family means most of my gaming time is short, usually away from my pc, and likely to be interrupted. So mobile games that are kind of hands-off and let you stop/pause whenever you want are great for me.

Ehhhhh maybe if I find one that grabs my attention or it’s a port for an old game I don’t have but not really. The gatcha element added to seemingly everything nowadays just puts me off even if it’s ftp I get it those def have make money but ehhh

All the time. It's just too convenient.

When I'm tired in the morning, I don't have the energy/power to boot something big up. I need something mindless with my coffee.

I am happy that there are a number of amazing phone games nowadays. 😊

Sometimes freeware picross games, for the rare occasions I'm commuting without a data connection. Otherwise hell no, mobile is video game hell and a snapshot of the future companies desperately want all video games to suffer.

I actually didn't play mobile games or enjoy roguelikes until I played Vampire Survivors on my phone over the holidays when visiting family.

I finished a run and thought to myself "Wait... are roguelikes the perfect mobile game?" then proceeded to clock in like 6-7 hours total over my vacation.
