Oh I have an ac.uk email address I can get fusion 360! Words of hubris. I ended up grabbing @Shapr3D on my iPad, they've got a really good tutorial mode that helped so much in re-orentiating my brain from drawing to CADing https://www.youtube.com/@ZackFreedman

If there's one thing I do feel comfortable with it's writing hacky code, these tutorials from @RuiSantosdotme are great for doing the basics of connecting to a HTTP API or doing MQTT
