Most of the Eagles sneaks are successful even before a push and the proposed rule doesn't even actually mean "banning the tush push". It just prevents instantly pushing a player after the snap which isn't what happens on Eagles sneaks anyway.

This is analogous to MLB banning the infield shift. Should have focused more on bunting and hitting oppo to exploit it as an offense. Instead, they ban it.
