They have a moral obligation to the tax payer to be on a different site. There should not be a need for anyone to use the site especially by govt tax payers for Emergency alerts. Our last earthquake was not alerted to the public via any other means to my knowledge.

I am from Nova Scotia. The only alert we got from the RCMP about a madman on the loose shooting people was on X. No amber alert or anything.

22 people were murdered.

I want our officials off accounts like this that require a login, sign in or are run by a Nazi!

I'm cross-trained as an emergency responder but I've left X on my phone that I use on ny employer's wifi because it's still better for news; in particular, on the local and national level.
