It keeps mutating because it has to have a host to survive so it mutates to a less severe form - it's a coronavirus, just like the common cold. Do we have a vaccine for that now?

The common cold is caused by rhinoviruses, and is rarely fatal. COVID-19 is caused by SARS-CoV-2, the flu is caused by the influenza virus A, B or C. Both can be fatal, we have a vaccine for both that will keep you alive after being infected by them. You can have a cold and COVID at the same time.
Yes, but Covid does have a 98.6% survival rate, and a vaccine does not prevent Covid, as we were told it would. This is the issue. We trusted that this would innoculate us against the virus, like every other traditional vaccine (MMR, Tetanus, Polio, et al). People got vaxxed & still got Covid.
"You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations."

Also remember when they rolled out the buzzword "breakthrough infections" with the implication they would be rare. Then literally everyone, vaccinated or not, kept getting infected 🤣🤣
Definitely, scare tactics were used, it is sad. COVID vaccines are intended to avoid death since they are not 100% effective. Same case as flu vaccine. Trump did a great job producing the vaccines, and Biden distributed them fairly quickly. Many vaccinated friends got COVID, but it was very mild.
Yep, and the left can't admit he said this. They want to blame Trump but the vaccine only rolled out a month before he left. He also didn't mandate the vax or be fired, so you had some angry people not vaxxing in retaliation. This is what happens when you use authoritarian tactics.
A cure? For a virus? That is ridiculous. It is a constantly evolving virus. Exactly how do you think they should create this cure? It is not a stable illness where they can just create a cure that covers it. This virus mutates every few months. You might want to research this a bit more.

I do hope you realise though, how many people the common cold killed before our immunity slowly caught up without vaccination.
(Read my post without looking to react and it might look like a sarcastic joke about a cure for the common cold. Hope that helps)
