#SaintPaul Fish Hatchery Trail will be closed once again this year, April-October. The detour is HILLS coming & going & a dangerous intersection across Hwy 61. Hopefully this time they rebuild it better than they did a few years ago. - ThreadSky

I've ridden that trail maybe twice. It was pretty awful. It would sure be nice if it came out in good shape, 'cause that makes for a great route. You're right, though, that detour is a headache.

It's the worst trail ever but also my favorite trail. I love the rollercoster ride.

The first time I rode it, I was cruising along on my road bike totally unaware of those lumps and bumps. It was an adventure at first. Best to slow down and enjoy the scenery, rather than deal with an unexpected BMX course.
