Been there, not fun. ask your urologist or VA Doc about Flomax or Doxazosin Mesylate. Unless you already take one. They help with passing smaller granules, helping prevent buildup. My body constantly produces stones.

I had that done last year. Word of advice: be sure you have a prescription painkiller handy as those stents will hurt like hell without them. Good luck!

I had 4 children with no drugs.
I also had a kidney stone.
Guess which of these events had me in tears and passing out from the pain.

Oh I feel your pain. I have chronic kidney stones and a few years back I had to have a nephrostomy for a few weeks to drain the kidney before they could even do the lithotripsy and put in a stent.
