There isn't a better alternative to Labour. However, this, from Reeves, is of deep concern: 'developers should be able to stop worrying about "the bats and the newts". On the contrary. If Labour consider more houses are necessary, then they should provide bettter protection to AONBs and wildlife.

Also of note the Airport Passenger Duty for a business class flight of over 2,000 miles, currently £581, will rise to £1,097 on 2026. That’s an 88% increase! Surely flyers will choose counties that don’t have rapacious passenger landing fees which could reduce Heathrow arrivals.

Labour will lose many votes due to ignorant statements made in speeches to the nation, i.e. to the already, dodgy construction industry “don’t worry about bats and newts” (indicator species) another nail in the coffin of UK’s pathetic biodiversity under the hammer of capitalism
