No show from the Warham Greens Pallid Harrier this evening by dark, more than 20 visiting birders left disappointed: photographer in a hide placed beside the bridge and adjacent to the roost site - coincidence? #UKbirding #norfolkbirding

Two days on and the Pallid Harrier still won’t approach the bridge. Short distant and late views at the back of the marsh at best and has abandoned previous roost. A lot of unhappy visitors too. Selfish beyond belief. #NorfolkBirding
It took five days, but the Pallid Harrier was back on the bridge at Warham Greens (part of the Holkham NNR) last night, to the delight of another twenty visiting birders (digi-scoped photo taken from the public viewpoint). Continues to roost much further away in saltmarsh.
How do we get to that bridge please? We wanted to see pallid harrier during day; drove down track from A149 opposite turning to Warham, but couldn't get very far.
You took the wrong track, best avoided due to pig farm activity. Take the track west of the Warham Road marked ‘Unsuitable for motors’. Drive north and park on the concrete pad. Don’t block farm access. Walk north down Garden Drove and watch from in front of small wood. Bird only present from c15:00
