Once I finish this last semester and get my degree, I'm planning to build one of these this summer.

Friends who are good woodworkers have gotten me into building cedar strip canoes and kayaks. Right now I am building a 12.5 foot Wee Lassie for my spouse. Alaskan Yellow Cedar, Western Red Cedar for the hull. I will put on Walnut gunwales and African Mahogany decks. It should be about 26 lbs.
