Doesn't matter if he did or didn't. The country voted to leave. Blame yourselves collectively, not the EU or Spain. No sympathy.

TBF he is blaming Spain for 'punishing' him. Spain aren't punishing anyone, they are applying a rule our government asked them apply (not what was voted for - nobody was talking about ending SM etc) He should be blaming May/Johnson and now Starmer.

I’d imagine it’s Spain’s choice how they treat him inside if Spain, though, isn’t it.
Maybe he does blame UK too. Have you asked him?
The Withdrawal Agreement is a baseline.
Just because the UK gov behaves appallingly doesn’t automatically mean other countries need to respond in the same way.
