Unfortunately in this reality there isn’t always a happily ever after.
The question stands. At what point should you leave? There is always a line.
None of our states (and that includes California) has the resources or capacity to go it alone.
No one else would have us. (Canada has zero interest in annexing California or any other state.)
The transition to that, however, is not straightforward.
Ask yourself why that is.
My claim isn't that that would be a good thing; it's just that California is absolutely a viable country in a world where the US is no longer a single entity.
The blue/red divide thing is not state-based.
