I'm actually a customer of another of Bending Spoon's products, and I'm not quite as pessimistic.

I live in a world where there is often a disconnect between the startup mindset and the growth mindset.

I still have my Komoot account, and I still value it. Time will tell.

If you’re looking for an alternative consider Ride with GPS. It has some flaws but it’s an acceptable planning & archival tool. Good North American geographic coverage. Available: web, Android & iOS. Integrates with Strava & any gpx / fit compatible GPS devices.

Spot on. As a longtime evernote user I can say that they havent ruined the software but it has not become next level either. Question really is: do they understand outdoor and the user journeys? I doubt it too. Plus it is a loss for the german software market
