I was proud to start the GIVE program in 2013 with DCJS' Mike Green. The New York Gun Involved Violence Elimination (GIVE) program has been tracking shooting victims in 20 cities (not NYC) since 2006. There were 817 shooting victims in those agencies in 2024, by far the fewest recorded by GIVE. www.criminaljustice.ny.gov/crimnet/ojsa...
