of the International Chinese people will lose access to the people in the Chinese Mainland, and a way to connect with their culture, Mind you so far it seems to only be one person talking about it on TikTok so guess it remains to be seen.

Ulitmately I decided to close/delete my Red Note/Little Red Book account, I do want to be like "Fuck you" to the people banning tiktok, but I don't want to screw other people out of something they value as much.
I'll keep watching while I can, but there is a chance there was either misinformation, or misunderstanding on this front (Little Red Book), they might still be allowing intermingling, but my account is already gone on there so I'll just watch on tiktok till it's gone to see what is going on.
