I agree with the core truth of 9/11 conspiracy people that the powers that be were happy it happened, maybe even had advanced warning it was likely and deliberately ignored it, etc etc. you start to lose me though when you start talking about the steel beams or Building 6.

I just don't see the argument that it was explicitly designed as a justification for invading the middle east as a valid one. they didn't need to engineer that reality, it was coming one way or another.

like most conspiracy theories, it feels like a way to make an incredibly complex situation (the impact that decisions made decades prior by the heads of multiple nations) down to the simplicity of "Bush Did 9/11".

the conspiracy starts and ends at the US failing to heed the multiple warnings and red flags. other than that it's chickens coming home to roost for what americans did to afghanistan in the 70s-80s.
