Which is entirely laughable as there’s data everywhere showing Dem. Presidents’ economic success vs. Republicans over the last 50 years. If only, numbers weren’t so hard!

Numbers don't sell papers, nor make good headlines. And the average voter only pays attention to politics within the last 100 days of a POTUS election. The American people are apathetic, and they don't know what the don't know.
Our messaging failed them, but they largely failed themselves.
True, but the data both sides use to measure the economy doesn't accurately reflect the increase in in poverty, and related changes people see, like homelessness. The "good economy" is gaslighting for a lot of people IMAO.
