They've always played a match or two each season around different cities in NZ. Obviously no more such "home" games in Auckland now

Why do they do that? Wellington now loses a home game and for them Sky Stadium is such an advantage.

Its to try and spread support through NZ, particularly when they were the only pro team. Also I would think they get subsidies to play out of the other stadiums feom the stadium owners
