disabled people don't make enough money. I think we know this. What we may not know is how much stress, worry and fear - real fear - this puts on a disabled person. The emotional tolls of disability poverty go unspoken, and that is a big problem. We need to talk about it all the time.

It's a double whammy.
It's helpful to have or start support groups that brainstorm and find ways for disabled individuals to be/feel useful and find their 'new' or 'a' "normal". It works -and builds self esteem - #priceless #goodpost
Get a job? Lose your SSI and there goes your healthcare. Lose your healthcare and there goes your health, so there goes your job and now you have nothing.
Call utility companies for discounts. Even medical baseline. Call TV service, ask for any discounts. Free streaming channels. Snap Benefits, give all expenses. Food banks. Digital coupons service to get you discounts or free items. Buy foods on ad sales.
