I think what happened yesterday with Cassidy and RFKjr was a perfect example. Cowardly physician who knows better than to vote for RFK but is worried about being primaried vs doing the right thing.

Well that's a problem with the people who choose to express themselves in Republican primary elections though, that's not an inherent problem with primaries.

Power SHOULD be insecure. If you want people to never challenge you, you better be an excellent leader, of which none of our Senators are.

I’ve NEVER understood why anyone in Congress - D or R - like Cassidy here or so many others, acts like this is the LAST/ONLY job they can ever have? so they do hideous immoral things like vote for RFK Jr. Vote your conscience always, go out with head held high to another day job. What I really want in a political system and think is the most important element for fighting fascism, is a system that starts with politicians remembering they work for the public, and making sure they are listening to it.

I don't believe in supporting people who do not share this goal.
