I mean, block lists exist for a reason. If people don’t want to see NSFW stuff, just block it. That means those people who do want to see it can freely do so without any issues.

I'm all for it. One of my partners is a SW and it's a job like any other! I think people should be able to censor themselves for content they don't wish to see, and safeguarding is important, but I agree with you wholeheartedly.

I feel like people put too much of their religious beliefs into things now and days and forget some of the basic forms of art-- the study of anatomy is by nature, and always has been what people would consider NSFW.

My thought is this.
I have no problem with SW or NSFW content on the site as long as it's properly tagged.
I don't want to scroll through Bluesky on break and have my boss walk by as I accidentally see a picture of someone's titties because they weren't tagged.

If I don’t like a site, I don’t follow or maybe block (if it’s offensive - to me). I see no reason for authorities to censor. Like book banning or abortion - if it’s not your thing, you can avoid it. I’d like to make my own choices. Thank you.

It is, yeah. As long as people properly tag their stuff which they just should do for ANY potentially uncomfortable content, be it sexual or violent or whatever, you literally have to actively choose to even be ABLE to see it.

I will say, while i support sex workers ive seen plenty of NSFW platforms being overtaken by them and fundamentally changing the communal vibe by flooding it with amounts to advertisement. See: Fetlife.
