Everything one dreams of in a werewolf movie that somehow doesn’t even require werewolves. We loved the designs and ‘shedding of humanity’ symbolism shown through the visceral transformations. Story was just kinda flat but fun

Just a simple werewolf film with some twists, set in a cozy cottage. Many cuts at first but settles into itself to show off some top-tier practical effects!

Good in theory, bad in practice. Very confused but trying to call werewolves skinwalkers and puts a bad taste in the mouth. Werewolf design was classic but stiff and too darkly lit to enjoy.

I can see why so many people loved this movie. Simple little film with a lot of love put into it. Could use more transformation and lore for the werewolves but of course, it is a vampire movie

It can be appreciated as the beginning of it all, but our enjoyment of it stops there. The design starts our least favorite werewolf design trend with the flat face. Digi-legs gets points though… but no tail :(

A retelling of The Wolf Man, but better! The atmosphere is juicy and dripping with dark academic tones. Lots of fun gore and action. The transformation was one of the best so far, well lit but still no tail 😑
