RE: Southwest When we decided to move to Colorado, being in a Southwest hub was a factor. Great prices, lots of flights, and no nickel & diming. My Chase United card gives free checked bags. I have also found that United flights have been mostly the best priced and the best customer service for delays/cancelations/etc.

When I see people trying to stuff their extra medium carry ons or searching for space I think it's absolutely worth it. Rarely do I have to wait more than a few minutes after stopping for bathroom. Covid era there was some issues though.
